世界遺産の守護者を
募集します
文化的景観が世界遺産に登録される奈良県吉野山。その眺望を楽しめる「花矢倉展望台」は日本有数の桜の名所として知られ、花見に訪れる観光客のために地主さんの好意で建てられたものです。しかし現在は老朽化が進み、立ち入り禁止のロープが張られています。
そこで私は、芸術祭「MIND TRAIL 奥大和 心のなかの美術館」の招致作家としてここに自分の作品を設置するのではなく、展望台の改修計画《Lunar Station》を立ち上げ、景観の守護者を募ることにしました。世界遺産の景観をどう守り、更新するのか。このプロジェクトは、月のサイクルに沿ってタームごとに展開します。参加ご希望の方は、下記 🌝 よりお申し込みください。

Seeking for Guardians
of the World Heritage
This is the Hanayakura Observatory, and the view you are seeing is Mt.Yoshino, Nara Prefecture. From here, you can get the best view of the World Heritage mountain. Also, this is one of the best cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan, and was built as a courtesy of the landowner for tourists. However, sadly, we can no longer enter the observatory due to its dilapidation.
Therefore, as one of the exhibition works for the art festival “MIND TRAIL”, I started the “Lunar Station”, a renovation project for the observatory to seek guardians of the scenery.
